Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking professional, self-motivated, skilled cake decorators to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly. This position will be hourly, working between 3-5 days a week depending on wedding season busyness.

Job Overview and Requirements:

• Location: Houston, TX
• Job Hours: Part-Time, Hourly with the opportunity for advancement (Must be available weekends for deliveries.)
• Pay:$16-$18 per hour
• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of cake decorating experience
• Certifications: ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
